The Robotics competition included more than forty-one teams, from the Northeast and Canada, whom spent several weeks prior to the event creating robots.   The student-made robots competed in a game called  Rebound Rumble, which resembles basketball.   Robots are controlled by students as they shoot balls into hoops of various heights that are worth different points.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization created to inspire high school students to be science and technology leaders, by engaging then in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering,  and technology skills to inspire innovation.
