Mathematical Moments

Mathematical Moments, created by the American Mathematical Society, is a wonderful resources for teachers that “promotes appreciation and understanding of the role mathematics plays in science, nature, technology, and human culture.”  On this website, you will find a series of pdf’s, often which are accompanied by podcasts, that show how math can be found our everyday lives.  Learn about the dynamics of a soccer ball kick, find out how close we are to achieving invisibility, learn how to solve sudoku puzzles, and much more!
