Chaired by Senator John Glen, former NASA astronaut, the National Science Teachers Association has raised $43 million for a Center for Science Education (CSE).  Per the NSTA, the “CSE initiatives will promote science literacy, produce the next generation of science education standards, and create a state-of-the-art facility that will allow science educators nationwide to engage in leadership and content-based learning opportunities.”

In the spirit of the CSE, what are ways that we can promote science literacy in the classroom?
